Pekingese dog history


The source of the picnic is China. But its date is in doubt. The first report of this race is from the eighteenth century. The breed was introduced to the West in 1860 by the British following the looting of the Peking royal palaces and on its return to England five queens were donated to Queen Victoria. It was first recorded in 1906 in the United States.

Pekingese are small, brave dogs that behave like a lion. They are sensitive, independent, militant, and very emotional about their owners, instead of accustomed to strangers. He is a dog eager to attract attention to the extent that if he finds out that not eating will attract the attention of his owner, he will avoid eating! If it is fed too much, it has a good potential in fat. It’s basically a jealous dog. It is loud and can be a good watch. Not recommended for children
